Rants & Raves

I haven’t done a rant in while, & what better to do one about than Chuck? Sure, i’m a day late and a dollar short….however that saying goes…because it is tuesday, but i’ll have a go at it anyway.
What am I talking about? Take a look at this:
Here’s how you can help save Chuck
Chuck airs on NBC tonight at 8, and the season finale airs next Monday night. It’s actually in danger of being canceled. But a major campaign has started to get the show renewed, and this time TV critics are getting behind it too.
Alan Sepinwall has written an open letter to NBC not just pleading with them to renew the show but also giving logical, business reasons to renew it (product integration, a good show for recession escapism, etc). He calls the show the best thing on NBC right now. Not sure if I exactly agree with that (I love 30 Rock too), but it’s certainly one of the top 10 shows on TV right now.

Now that your up to speed, if you didn’t already know, chuck is “maybe” going to cancelled……..first I would like to say something to you NBC- “You my friend….are a douche!” Not only do you cancel one of my favorite shows, Kings, but now your thinking about canceling chuck. Crtics and fans agree that it is good! CRITICS & FANS…..that is not a combination you normally get. Critics normally nitpick at every little thing, but…if they agree that it needs to be renewed for another season then you have to admit that it is a good show. NBC….IT MAKES YOU FRIKIN’ MONEY!!! JUST BECAUSE IT DOESN’T HAVE A MILLION VIEWERS EVERY NIGHT DOESN’T MEAN PEOPLE ARE WATHING IT!!! That is what ticks me of about brodcasting companies. For no reason, they suddenly announce that a show is getting canned, like good old chuck. Then when they get asked about it, they have a spokes person say “Oh well the ratings aren’t good enough.”……if you have people saying they want another season…give it to them! I don’t know how they base the ratings of how many people watched it, but I do know 1 thing, if it has been on for what? 2 seasons now…that means enough people are watching it! Why can it??????
first I would like to say something to you NBC- “You my friend….are a douche!”
